actually its a multitude which no man can number.  revelation says that 144,000 of the tribes of israel were sealed, and that a great multitude which no man can number came out of great tribulation and washed their robes, making them white in the blood of the lamb.

Revelations should not be trusted. It's a prophetic book. It speaks of tv sets and things like that.

i'm pretty sure that at least in the king james translation the only two books of the bible that do not mention god are esther and songs of solomon

The King James Bible is a re-working of the Bible made to suit the needs of King James. Therefore, I must agree with AEYH and say it should not be trusted. Go original if you are gonna go Biblical. Wink

Sure! Or you could invent a time machine, go back to when the Bible was written and take it. Return to our time, photo-copy it and then bring the original back to it's authors! lol.

Grin Grin Grin  Reason is that when he ordered it to be translated, the people understood that if they didn't do it correctly they would be put to death. Shocked Shocked Shocked  With this thought in mind, which translation would you prefer?  One translated by people fearful of execution for incoorect translation, or one translated by people indulging in wine and strong drinks?
