The Wachowski Bros' have found their Speed Racer!
It's the kid from movie The Girl Next Door, Emile Hirsch. 
If The Girl Next Door is all I have to go on, then I weep for Speed Racer.

I hate LOST with a passion, but he seems to fit. It's just a shame Heroes didn't start earlier. Would've given us a better chance of one of their stars, considering Pasdar's career is on the upswing.

HE'S A DEMON ON WHEELS!

I'm a big SPEED RACER fan. And I have to say, USA TODAY's Story on SPEED RACER tweaked my interest.  They very much got the car right, but it's disapointing that most the scenes with the Mach 5 with be CGI.  But the have a real monkey? BIG FREAKING DEAL!! I would rather see a CGI monkey and some real stunt driving in the Mach 5.

We just leared that a baaaaaaad mutha-(shut yo mouth) just joined the cast. Yep, Richard Roundtree (SHAFT and HEROES) has joined the cast of Speed Racer.  He's will play an ex-racrer turned comintator.
