Captian America has been assassinated, in the Marvel Comics Universe!
I stopped reading a few years back, but wow, that's big.
One more reason why Marvel dosen't get my money....I will admit that I'm looking forward to World War Hulk so he can come back and smash everyone. "Hulk like stars-and-strips man..he been nice to Hulk...tin man sent him to death...Hulk Angry..HULK SMASH!!!!"

Hey guys! I love this thread, but it's more of an off topic thing that general discussion. Anyway, I'm as upset about the killing of Steve Rogers as I was with the resurrection of Bucky. My thoughts were, "Is nothing sacred anymore". The simple answer is no, it's not. Other characters have been Captain America, I never freaked, and this isn't the first time Steve has been "dead". Sure my gut reaction was strong, but then I read this article and I was reminded of what industry I'm dealing with. Captain America will be someone else for a while, maybe even years, but eventually Steve Rogers will live again (or will have never really died). We'll have our character back boys, I guarantee it.
