what's going to happen when he realizes that he's sylar? and, IS he sylar if there is a sylar in matt's head?
I'm pretty sure that the Sylar in Matt's head was just a figment of his imagination. Or just that his guilty conscience was talking to him in a more...real...way.
Maybe in the moment that Matt's mind touched Sylar's some sort of back-up copy was created in Matt's subconscious. It's not really Sylar but some part of Matt's own mind acting the part. Fueled by Matt's guilt, and feelings of impending doom over what he did.
It's like he accidentally created a split personality that believes it's Sylar.
When Nathan/Sylar realizes who he really is, he may not want to return to his old self. The writers have suggested before that there is some part of Sylar that longs for a family, and acceptance. Which he could have if he keeps being Nathan. But the copy of Sylar in Matt's head may drive him so crazy that he uploads the Sylar persona right back where it came from just to be rid of him....
