In one of the scenes from Season 1 (I'm not sure if it was episode 5 or 6) After HRG and the Haitian try to kidnap Nathan and they are at the fence while presumably having corned Nathan. He then flies away, why was he able to fly with the Haitian standing near him?Huh

Someone help me out, I just realized this when I started re-watching Season.

Huh! I don't think there's a good answer to this one.  Maybe the Haitian wasn't actively suppressing powers at that moment?

I thought that they didn't know what power he had.  So he wasn't supressing his powers. They wanted to see what his power is.
