Omg... sylar did not need another power upgrade.
how did he get from the car to the rooftop...somesorta not seen before power...(Maybe telepathic projection, telpathy, phaseing, speed, something I missed?) then to get shape change ontop of that.

And the religus angle again this time with peter...I am getting a little tired of that. Although I want to scream at every member of the cast "FIND OTHERS and FIGHT BACK TOGATHER"...Heck Peter, and parkmen should both be going for molly to A protector, and B use her to find the others...

Looks like we're headed towards a future similar to that of the first season. President Sylar here we come!

My opinions on tonight's episode in once again, point form format:

1. Why the bajeezus did Nathan have to fly Claire all the way to Mexico? (if that's where they went. I wasn't paying attention).
2. a) Nathan is not particularly good at drinking games, despite what he said. Good thing Claire's Regeneration also applies to her liver, although I kind of expected that a mile away.
2. b) LOL drunken flying.
3. More teary Claire? I swear, her only purpose in this show is to let loose the waterworks so the Big Tough Guys don't have to. I want to see more Badass Future Claire.
4. Wouldn't it suck for Peter if he accidentally took Angela's ability? That's what I'm always thinking whenever there's any physical contact between them.
6. club scenes with Sylar and Danko were the highlights of this episode. I seriously LOLed when I saw fake-Danko hooking up with some anonymous woman. "He's a better you than you." You got that right, Sylar.
7. Fake-Sylar and Danko leaving the club: I guess I fell for the trick partially - I thought Danko was the fake. Surprise-surprise Sylar was the fake - it was pretty weird seeing "Sylar" go all wimpy as he was seconds to his death a-la Real Sylar.
8. Fake-Sylar in the body bag: great how it all wraps up. Have the shapeshifter take Sylar's form, kill him while he's still in that form, and pass him off as the real deal. I would like to see how/if the shapeshifter's body comes back to the story when Noah finds out that the body is a fake.
9. Damn, shape-shifting looks painful.
10. Do free clothes come with shape-shifting? Seems nifty.
11. Minus one point for not having a Hiro/Ando storyline, but solid episode overall.

Sylar with shapeshifting? Oh snap, everyone's in BIG trouble now...
It was an interesting episode. Not nearly as awesome as last week's, but it's sort of trying to wrap things up. The Peter and Angela story as well as the Claire and Nathan story were sort of about redemption and fixing the mess and moving forward.
Sylar and Danko was interesting. Twisted meets...twisted-er...
I can't help but think that Sylar's going to get depowered at the end of this vloume. No one wants an absolutely unstoppable villain. Either that or he'll go off in a totally different direction next vloume. But personally Im hoping for an epic showdown where Sylar loses all his powers or something like that.
Claire getting drunk was not something I needed to see, Im really sick of all her whining about daddy issues. Sylar's got much worse daddy issues than her and we don't see him constantly whining...
On the plus side her hair looks a little better.
The incredibly religious tones really annoyed me, and I nearly gagged when Peter was asking Jesus to help him and keep his end of the bargain, but whatever. Should be fun to meet Aunt Petrelli...
I really liked that one quote from Sylar when he was at the shapeshifter's house with Danko "Why does anyone want power? To screw with people? Or just to screw people?" or something like that.
Hope we see Hiro and Ando and baby Matt again next episode!

Man, I hope not. We have seen hiro and peter (and sylar in season 2) loose powers and have to be worried. I don't want to see that again. As it is we don't see sylar use any of his powers really..

[sblock=sylar powers]  Cryokinissis, Telakenitic, edietic memory, Regenaration, radation control, Elctric blast, Paint futur, psycomitry, lie detector, see patterns, super hearing...and remember he killed lots of people we never knew about [/sblock]

Since Sylar is "officially" dead to everyone but Danko, Sylar will have to use his newfound shapeshifting pretty extensively here on until the truth is revealed. However I have some trust in the writers of this show to exercise some restraint on how Sylar uses this ability. If Shapeshifting will add to the "badass-ness" of his character I'm all for it, 100%.

I don't think Bennet's completely covinced that he's dead, but it will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
I'm all for the shapeshifting adding to the awesome badass-ness of his character (and face it, he was pretty awesomely badass this episode), I just hope it doesn't get really abused and that they don't make him world dictator or something like that. And I hope it doesn't result in the death if any more major characters.

Of course not, I think Noah's pretty smart and suspicious of Sylar's "death".  Wink Especially with his past experiences with Sylar. All Noah needs to do is find that Danko was pursuing a shapeshifter, Danko's apathy to Sylar's death, make a few connections and Sylar's cover will be blown.

That's what I was wondering about. It reminded me of the Peter/Sylar detention scene in season one. Although everyone just chalked that up to one of Peter's weird dreams.

I going to start grading each episode according to the following scale:
Every time I see something I really like = +10
Every time I see something that really annoys me = -10
All episodes start with a score of 50.
So I'll give last night episode a grade of A  (95 points)
Here's the breakdown:
Sylar in the back seat of Danko's car...+10
Angela whining in church...-10
Head in the box...+10
Shapeshifting...+10
Clair & Nathan in the Cantina...+10
Peter whining in church...-10
Sylar using his touch power in the shapeshifter's apartment...+10
Sylar & Danko in the club...+10
Sylar morphing back to himself at the end...+5 (pretty cool bit there with his eyes)
So all in all a great episode, although I could have done with out the church scene entirely.

I think this is an ability he's had all along. When he showed up a Clair's house she went downstairs, turned around and suddenly he's right there. He always does that. I don't know who he got this power from or even what this powers is, but I think he's been using it all along. Some possible powers are:
Teleportation
Time Stop
Astral Projection
Telepathy (making people think he's there, although if he had this power he would have been using it more all along.)
Super Speed (although usually with this power there's some kind of blur or whoosh sound)

I liked the episode. Well, yeah, it wasn't as good as the last episode, but hey, the last ep was "classic", once in a season super-episodio. So you can't really hope for that every time...

Sylar/Danko team: i don't like Danko that much, but he and Sylar make a good team. And i totally loved Sylar's attitude - laughing, smiling...happy physco killer is way better than the serious one.

Claire/Nathan: Another well working partnership. I'm not really into Claire these days, but if this is what we get when we mix her with Nathan... those two can't separate for seasons to come!

Peter/Angela: Hmm.... First off:
"Hi, I'm peter. Mom, I'll go get you jacket. Then i'll go get you a cup of tee. Next I'll get you a hair brush, and then I'll got get you paintings in here and - hey! Let's move in. But wait! then i couldn't be able to run out and back in again..."
That's what i first thought it was turning to. But nope. Thank god it didn't.
Next, I'm not religious person myself, but there's nothing wrong with religious scenes in movies/Tv, and some religious songs can be pretty. But this peter chat with "god". I was already afraid that he would burst into tears and yell "Godwhy did you do this to me???" That would've been over the top.
So...Angela's big secret was to become a teacher. I can imagine her during an exam, making sure no ones cheating. And every time someone would lift thier face from the paper she would hit 'em with one of those big sticks...  Grin

Just something i wanted to add: The first time i remember Sylar dissappearing unexplainably was in the beginning of S1, when matt shot him in... was it episode 3, and when Matt turned away for a sec he was gone.

And if anyone's going to figure out that Sylar's not dead, and what's going on with him, it's H.R.G.
But honsetly, i really thought that when Danko said "he's not here, let's go" and all, i thought that the shape-shifter was Danko. And then he killed Sylar...that's the part where i realized what's going on. The music in the end of the ep was good.

But Pete's better not fly i the next ep before meeting nathan...

I never really thought about it until last night, but Sylar really makes a good team with everybody. (Sylar & Noah, Sylar & Danko, Sylar & the kid, Sylar & Elle, even Sylar & Maya weren't terrible).
