Although I'm not sure why he popped the top on Elle. I mean he already had her power and her cell phone with all those addresses. So why cut her open? And for that matter, why not chop off Arthur's head and take his power as well?

I'm noticing a lot of questioning about "the future" we seen earlier this season, and for me that "future" has definetely changed, since Future Peter showed Peter the future and made him "unlock" Sylar's power. That made Peter act diferrent in the present, changing the outcome of things. There seems to be some inevitable happenings like Nathan becoming president, and Peter getting his scar, that are presented in every future we seen so far. But i believe the good, nice and stupid Gabriel Gray will NOT happen.

Sociopath Sylar is waaaaaaaaay better.

Peter may have acted different after returning from the future, but the fact is that he really didn't have Sylar's power long before all of his powers, including Sylar's, were taken from him by Arthur.

As soon as he returned from the future he attacked Angela forcing her into putting him into an induced coma. When Sylar awakened him, he immediately went rushing to Pinehearst only to have his powers taken away. Which may have happened in the first time-line anyway. As far as we know Peter changed nothing. He certainly didn't stop Arthur.

There had to have been some reason why the writers had Peter learn how to activate Sylar's ability, but so far it hasn't come into play. So I'm going to continue to believe that he hasn't changed the future until we actually see him use that power in some significant way. Otherwise it was completely pointless.

Sylar took elle's ability like Peter gets his abilities right?, well if Peter gets his abilities he is verry limited in them, he does not fully understand them. You saw that elle and sylar were practicing elle's ability. Sylar dindt fully understand how to use elle's power. So he popped open her head, to fully learn the extend of her power.

GR, you can't affirm that, you can only assume that.

The way I see it, if Peter didn't "unlocked" Sylar's power, he wouldn't have "gone psycho" at his mother and would not have been put into a induced coma, and then when he got out of it, he wouldn't hush into Pinehearst so full of himself. Then Sylar would never go after him, and maybe he wouldn't join forces with Arthur? Remember Peter falling from the window stoped Claire from going into Pinehearst? maybe that was not suposed to happen huh? who knows... i believe future has changed.

You're right, I am assuming that the future hasn't changed. I did say that's what  I "believe". In my opinion if the future had been changed, then the last episode would have been the season finale. But instead there are still things to be resolved.

And again, in my opinion, everything that we saw in the future could still happen just as we saw it. President Nathan running Pinehearst, Claire turning evil, Ando killing Hiro. As long as the formula exists, then that future could.

And the fact that they still haven't explained what causes the world to explode, suggests to me that it's still going to happen. That at least hasn't been changed. Future Peter and Hiro just assumed that the explosion was caused by the formula getting out, they could be wrong.

I'm guessing that we're going to be seeing another future episode. The world exploding is supposed to happen four years from now. I'm thinking that, in order to stop it, to someone is actually going to have to travel to the future to see what causes it. Which means that either Peter, or Hiro, is going to get their powers back.

But if you want to believe that the future's changed...that's cool..you may be right.

Oh absolutely. If they don't stop the world from exploding, then there's no more show.

And no one wants that.... Wink

Did anyone notice that the soldier who was given the formula was Kyle in 4400, who funnily enough took a special formula that gave him special powers? Type cast?

Nope...never saw the show. But I did notice that he really sucked as a "Super Soldier".

All he managed to do with his power was plant a chair into a wall. Then he opens a door only to get his neck snapped by Knox...in about two seconds.... Roll Eyes
