Yes Claire raised her gun.

But what confuses me is that Claire blames Peter for the explosion.

It was them who killed Gabriels son, which made him go nuclear.

But I guess this future is so messed up that they all act very irrational.

P.S.: Also new to this forum. Love ur insights on the episodes.

seems to me that Claire is always blaming Future Peter, for reasons we have yet to see..
and she doesn't actually say that he's responsible for the explosion..

A big welcome to you both!

Yeah, I don't know what happened that Claire and Peter are no longer on the same side.  Sad

I thought it was a really great episode. It was awesome seeing how different all the characters were in the future.

Shocking Episode. Fantastic from the start. I really suspended belief and ignored all the plot holes, and it was just fantastic. I can't say I liked the Repetition with Matt, but to me that is not where the episode started. I was also aware that it was Matt's Vision, and I don't like the idea that by using fruits, One can adopt someone else's power - it's a bit silly, and I know others won't like it.

For me it started where Future Peter showed Present Future... well... the future - People had powers!  Shocked
Even more Shocked Claire comes along and starts shooting Future Peter. When I heard the Police Sirens I knew TROUBLE was coming, but I didn't expect it in that form. Some asked the other day why does Claire have brunette hair; Well it shows her maturity and change and the Brunette also gives a darkier edge to her. Blonde represents the innocence, oblivious, the light, the purity, whereas the Brown represents Experience, Maturity, Wider Knowledge. It's all Conotative Mis-En-Scene really.

So Future Peter gets shot - I thought he was knocked out - But I was thinking: "wth? Why? and where did she hit him?!" I don't care, cos Peter's just K.O'd the Haitian with a trash can  Grin

I found out later he's dead - I'm like: "WHAT! - Oh it must just be because she hasn't pulled out the bullet from his brain right?" < Anyway I didn't look into that much 'till long after the episode. What sent me in a hyper-frenzy was that Future Clare was working with Future Knox AND Future Daphne who's with MATT! and takes care of Molly! Shocked And wasn't Claire so badass as an Evil Vixen?

The Maya & Mohinder thing doesn't bother me too much - I don't like how the story mimics the Fly, but I do like how it turned out in the future, and I can also live with a poor storyline for about 7 Episodes, before I join the Slagging Bangwagon. I really liked the mystery of Mohinder in the future - and those rattlesnake noises, it just makes it so interesting, and it's good that they didn't reveal what Mohinder actually looked like in the hood.

Was really appreciative that they answered the Nikki/Tracy thing, but as a Lost-fan I like outstretched mysteries, call me wierd, (But I find it neccessary, to captivate me), HOWEVER the way they put a twist on it, kept my captivation and I'm still loving that Storyline. I might be alone on it though, but It's A New Spin and she's back with Nathan. I was just loving that scene they had together, it was soo good! Those 2 are so good together. Then the way they transcended it and transformed the scene to the future - and she was the First Lady - yeah! Cheesy Also: I really liked the idea someone had that it may not actually be Tracy but Barbara - Interesting...

What's Left: Hiro & Ando in the Present was funny, but didn't captivate me as much as what was going on in the future. At one point, I was like why aren't they in the future, then I remembered the scene we saw in the Premier lol.

WOW - that scene in Costa Verda - Just BLEW ME AWAY and like half of the civilians there. It was like shock upon shock. "Future Sylar lives in COSTA VERDA! WHAT! - What happened to the Bennets? How did this happen?".... Then there's a child there.... - "Sylar has a kid! in the future?! - how did that happen? - who's the mother?! His Name's Noah?! - Where is Noah anyway?" - then there was that fantastic scene between Peter & Sylar where Peter wanted his powers and they were just discussing it. Now I know alot of people slag Milo off for crappy acting, but the thing about acting is, if you're not analysing a character's acting and actually engrossed in the scene - then the acting is pretty decent. I'm sure he did some of those neck movements* that people don't like, but It didn't phase me at all - I was completely pulled in by that scene.  * By neck movements i mean tilting his head, left to right, ALOT.

Then Daphne, Knox & Claire came. I never thought that situations could turn around where Claire was a threat to Sylar. People say "why didn't he freeze time?" - Maybe he tried, but Daphne can run out of time. Whilst I was watching I go the impression he tried to freeze her, but she ran through it. You got to consider that their powers have evolved, whereas Peter's is still at that 5 Years before level. Sylar didn't retaliate because he wanted to be Pacifistic about things. It was only when they killed his child that he truly wanted to rip their heads open. Now here's where you've got to take into consideration that for god knows how many years now, Sylar has been looking after this child trying for so many years, mantaining years of self-control, fighting the lust to achieve this goal, then in just 2 minutes, 1 person comes to destroy everything he's worked for in the past few years. Imagine you've been working on a puzzle for five years then someone just comes and trashes it.  - YOU WOULD BE PISSED! And that's why Sylar went off like a bomb. And as for the whole Daphne/carrying super-speed thing, you're forgetting that: 1. Her powers could have advanced; 2. When you're carrying someone at the speed of god knows how fast you're moving, but you're moving so fast maybe things like gravity and weight don't actually have an effect. Because you're moving so fast it takes time for the weight to actually have an impact. If You watch Smallville, the same thing happens. Clark lifts up Kara and in like 2 seconds super-speeds her to the barn. You could argue that Clark is strong, but the fact that Kara didn't retaliate 'till they got to the barn, shows that forces don't work the same way, or else she would have still been able to kick him off whilst they were super-zooming. Therefore time must still be the same speed for them, but slowed down for us, when they do the sort of slow-motion scene where Clark scans the area before saving the day. Now I'm no Physician and I never took Physics, but that's what I believe happened there.

The Bomb really was ... the Bomb! I just sat there infront of my computer screen with my mouth wide open, staring at the computer screen in amazement and shock that: 1. They'd actually killed off a child; 2. They'd actually done the bomb - 1 and a half Seasons later, and it had that ring to Company Man. I thought people would slag them off for it, but I guess not Cheesy

Can't believe Peter turned "Sylar" on Nathan, but I kind of saw it coming, because when Peter said he wanted the power I was like "NO! Peter don't!!!" - even when he was fixing the clock i was like: "No! I hope someone interferes and stops him from fixing the clock! - No!" Oh well, I guess it makes it very/much more interesting.

I thought when Claire was going to cut Peter with the Scapel that she would cut him across the face to make the scar, and that's why it's such a Significant Reminder to Peter the Future he must avoid or something, but I guess not. Would have made One Hell of A Paradox though.

Love the Ending Scenes: Peter confronting Sylar - does he realize he's locked in there now, unable to use his powers? Angela telling Hiro & Ando that the Key to Saving the World was releasing Adam Monroe!!!

That was a shock too. Loved that ending, when he said: "Hiro - You Son of a...!" Cheesy

What I think is going on here is that, Angela is releasing Adam Monroe so that the Future happens a certain way that SHE wants it. I also agree with the theory that she's preparing herself & Sylar for the Big Battle Against: Knox, Maury, Adam & Tracy. So how does that go down? - Can't wait...

For more Heroes.  Smiley

Have to correct you on that one niwdog  Tongue sorry haha...

Peter can definitely use his powers in the level 5 cell. Just like the fireguy did in episode 2 I think it was.
And Peter also used his telekinesis ability to push sylar up against the wall  Wink At least it looks like he did it that way.

Furthermore, I also can't wait for tuesday! Then I can finally download it, since I'm from the netherlands/amsterdam  Roll Eyes

It's really gonna be another awesome episode!  Grin Can't believe that Peter is even going "sylar" on Angela  Shocked I think Sylar's going to help Angela to get peter off of her to stop the "skull cutting"

By the way, Peter and Hiro don't stop time or freeze it, they slow it down to an extent that you don't notice it and that it looks frozen. Thats why Daphne could still move when Hiro went after her whilst she was stealing halve of the formula.

Until later!

Oh yeah, you're right there - just remembered/realized. That whole Prison Cell thing's quite confusing. If Hiro can use his powers inside why didn't he just teleport out instead of all that... Major Plothole anyone?

Yeah there's been this theory floating around on this forum since the first season that the Company has some sort of device that can nullify peoples powers.

But personally I think it's just the Haitian.

Niwdog, about super speed "weight issue", moving something super fast, doesn't make it any lighter (just like a supersonic Jet don't get any lighter when flying in super sonic speed) but moving super-fast increases incredibity it's cinetical energy what could cause things to explode or be hurled away.

What could have hapenned is if her powers had evoved, she could for example, infuses her super-speed in people she is touching, kinda like The Flash (from DC comics) used to do.

But if Daphne tried to carry Claire and Knox, the 3 of 'em would be in the same speed (same cinetical energy) it would similar to a normal person trying to run carrying two adults. To me, how the three of 'em got from NY to Costa Verde so fast is just a big PLOT HOLE.

The writters in "behind the eclipse" already admitted a plot hole very much like this one, with sylar getting to costa verde super-fast.

Lol, I see. Thanks for the Better Physics explanation/theory. I was just applying some kind of Rational Explanation to what I'd seen, didn't really know what I was on about. So they've admitted it was one - oh well lol. They should have come up with something to explain it, or make it into a mystery. It is also odd how Sylar got from NY to Costa Verda so fast in the Season Premier as well. I'm starting to believe there's some Super Fast Train from NY to Costa Verda for People with Special Abilities, which everyone seems to take.
