Wow. Very strange. It seems that all of the main heroes characters parents are all in the Older Generation.

Could this mean that Simone had a power, maybe that hadn't manifested before she died?

Perhaps. Of course, it still hasn't been made clear exactly how this genetic trait works. I don't think it (necessarily) follows that a "special" parent will automatically have a "special" child.
