Remember in early season 1, we were told that if Peter kept taking on new abilities, his body wouldn't be able to handle it and he would eventually die?

I'm wondering on the point of saying this just to let him become more powerful and nothing happen.

Maybe he will die in the end of season two. . .  or three. . .  no idea. . .

I was under the impression that if he kept taking on abilities without learning to control them he would die. I thought that was the whole reason he got Claude to train him, so he wouldn't hurt someone or himself with an out of control ability. Now that he has some control over his power(s), he should be able to absorb as much as he can without exploding (or imploding, sulking, whatever).

especially considering that 4 years before five years gone he helped break out just shy of 200 people with abilities from a penitentiary in utah and didn't die from that.
