Episode 04 - The Kindness of Strangers

Same old Maya and Alejandro.  Nothing really new about them again.
I guess the burger girl can learn things from the TV.  A unique power, but don't know how it'll play out.

Any ways...Monica is "the burger girl"...and she can do  mimicry of any physical action that she sees.

I wonder how Molly is going to wake up from that nightmare.

Terrific Episode. They are now getting better and better by the week. Slowly getting back.

Erm...can't remember much about this episode now, it has been like 4-5 days.

What does stick in my head though is Sylar with Maya & Alejandro. I'm so glad Maya & Alejandro have been involved in a storyline and crossed paths with a major character. This will make them much more interesting. Atm I'm worried if Sylar will kill Alejandro (He is a Guest Star), whereas Maya is a main character. She's more likely to survive longer than him.

Somebody was saying how he could find Claire, and someone else rejected this theory. I know where this comes from > There's some wild theory out there Sylar is HRG's Killer, dunno how this works out, but it could be that he retained Candice's power.

I would also like it if Sylar found a picture of Claire in the car and tracked down the address and a whole new comotion began in their area, which would put HRG, West, Claire, Sylar, Maya & Alejandro all in an interesting storyline. This will probably not happen. But as much as it is urgent that Maya & Alejandro are headed for NY, I don't think they'll get there that quick. I just hope very exciting things happen to them on their way. But I am looking forward to the end Product > Maya & Alejandro interacting with Mohinder, possibly Matt & Molly. + The fact that Sylar will be back in their midst will result in a very interesting storyline.

When I saw the end of this episode, I was just like OMG Molly!  I can't believe that just happened! Now i can't wait for the next episode. I'm hoping Matt will go to the Nightmare Man's House to confront him, I just don't know what he could possibly do to sotp him. Mohinder's not very powerful.

Another thing I loved about this episode was the Big Reveal: The Nightmare Man's Identity - Matt's Father Actually no Big Shock there, I happened to already know. I still think there's something more to the Matt & Angella Petrelli scene, and I loved how Nathan & Matt teamed up. I had to pause when they showed the picture of the Older Generation.

The Fact that the 12th Character was covered by Nathan's Hand, just proved that Matt's Dad may not be the Killer. Maybe the Psychic attack performed on Angella Petrelli wasn't meant to kill her. It may have been a warning or meant something different. I think the Real Killer is the Kaito 1; he is quite young and he must be the character that's been said to be Older than Appears. Am I the only one thinking this may be Kensei in the Future or something. It would have been pretty shocking if Nathan had moved his finger and revealed Kensei sitting there, looking as young as ever. Hiro travelling Back in Time must have had bigger effects to everything.

No Peter or Hiro, but this episode was much better than 1, 2 & 3 put together.

Monica, to me is very interesting. And I actually do enjoy the interaction Micah has with his cousin. It's quite funny to watch. I like Monica's power as well, and I also find her Hurricane Katrina Aftermath story very powerful. Tim Kring is an excellent character and Monica's lines had a huge effect on me, as someone who writes myself, I believe the script conveyed Monica and her storyline very well. I understand how everyone else dislikes her cos she's a new character, but do consider this:

- Watch the Show for more than just what you are expecting it to be.
- Remember Heroes is a show that is supposed to appeal to a wide audience - almost everybody. This is something that attracted me to Heroes and made me love it. I think Heroes achieves this better than Lost, so it's good they keep these things up. Bare that in mind as you watch it. If they probably didn't do Maya & Alejandro, they might not appeal to Spanish-Speaking Countries, and without appeal to enough Viewers Heroes will be taken off the air.
- Finally: Every character, scene and storyline on heroes has a significance; whether it is to the Season Finale Episode, the Season Climax Episode, the Season Penultimate Episode or whether it is a significant to something in a later Season or the Final Episode, it has a significance.

Er...Yeah I think that's all I wanted to say...oh and Bob's in the Original 12.

I am totally mad that they did not have Peter in the episode. It was a good episode though. Kristen Bell is finally in an episode, she is going to be in the Heroes cast this season, and i have just been wondering when she was going to be in an episode. I really liked the whole Molly nightmare thing, i got very intrested. I love that Claire and West are a couple, i loved it when he said something like, " i know you indestructable, but i would never want to see you hurt." Then they kissed, it was so cute. The whole Sylar thing, I have ho idea what he is up to, but he is doing something, he looked cute in this episode, but Peter is way hotter. Nathan's monster thing freaked me out. Well i loved that episode.

Oh, Bearded!Nathan... I'm with your boys. Shave, please. For the good of all mankind. Where did they think they were going with this storyline? Yes, a burned and grieving Nathan would probably have gone off the deep end a little, but this is ridiculous. He's an elected official. What happened to that? And then he goes from drunk, Bearded!Nathan back to normal in half a scene, with no looking back. Sure, Angela has a line about "just because you shaved doesn't mean you're clean and sober," but seriously--there should be bigger withdrawals and consequences here.

Sylar! How did he make it out of the miles of jungle we last saw him in and end up sprawled across a desert road? I suppose I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, though: the point where the twins pick up Sylar is the point where their story finally gets interesting. And I must hand it to Dania Ramirez, she has the most infectious smile when she finds out Sylar knows Suresh.

It's interesting, and somewhat disconcerting to hear Sylar introduce himself as Gabriel Gray. Kudos to Zachary on that particular line delivery: he looks and sounds so small.

The entire New Orleans storyline bothers me. I wish they'd found a better way to get Micah out of the way while Niki was away. He's a fun character, but really wasted here. It's fun that G'mom is Uhura from Star Trek, but Damon is an obnoxious little kid with no redeeming qualities, and Monica's ability is intriguing, but definitely not used to it's best advantage. The dialogue in all of these scenes is forced, and seems so much thinner than what the other characters' are given. Did we need her singing "I Will Survive"? Not really.

Aww. Greg still steals my heart in all his scenes. I'm not sure this guy could ever play a villain and have me believe him. I hope he's a sweet guy in real life. I'd be disappointed if I found out the actor was an ass.

Adair Tishler is going to be gorgeous when she grows up. And second season she's still stealing scenes. I loved her initial gasp and refusal to look for The Nightmare Man. She does well with her tracking of him, too, but I think my favorite moment of the final scene was Matt's desperate pleas for Molly to come back. Good job again, Greg.

"Oh golly, they seem so..." I'm confused by why Sylar has lost his powers. The near-death experience? Does he still hear the ticking, or is that a theme sound effect we--the audience--get to signify he's thinking bad thoughts? I liked the way he immediately thought more of his traveling companions once he found out they were wanted for murder. Rather than run from them he kills Derek and saves them... Nice. Very backwards. Very Sylar. I love the look of anticipation and psychotic glee as he gives that barely-there smile as he starts the car.
