It's a good question, and I wondered that myself when - wait, I suppose I ought to tag this. Nevermind, I can't figure out which bloody button is the Spoiler button. Anyone help me out with that? Or can I just type ? Anyway, I wondered that when she put her hand in the garbage disposal. Now, I'm a class-act wuss and had to cover my eyes for that part, but I knew what she was doing, and I didn't hear a thing coming from her. And hubby said she didn't even grimace.

Have you ever, like, walked naked to the fridge in the middle of the night to get a drink or something, and then you realize someone saw you? And then you realize you're kind of into it? If not, then it never happened to me, either. Ever.

I'm not sure what her father's true intentions are. He seems to care for her, yet he also seems to have an alterior motive. He obviously hired two people to act like her biological parents, which is very mean, especially when she is still trying to deal with that part of her life.
A theory in another section mentions the removal of the brain, which is Sylar's MO, will kill the heroes for sure. Seeing as Claire's power seems to be linked to her brain fuction, according to the stick removed from her skull when she was shoved by the quarterback, then I think, for her, it's the only way to kill her. I think her father placed the bio parents there to get her to admit she has super powers. He has the tape, but perhaps he doesn't want to do anything until he knows for sure.
I still think he's Sylar, and I think he was trying to trap Claire to admitting her abilities.
