My question is the comment the creator of the show said about A CLUE to why the major villain of the show is interested in her...what is this CLUE?

Does anyone know where we have seen this CLUE?

Haven't seen any clues as to why he wants Claire.  It does say eventually, so maybe it hasn't aired yet.  Obvious theories would be; to take her power or use her to do something.  That's just what I think though!

Um, well this is a theory and it probably belongs in the theories and speculation section but I have seen a lot of people post about Sylar sapping or sucking other peoples powers. But it would seem liek to me that all the hero's powers come from a region in the brain. That's what makes Claire's dad's henchman so dangerous, because he can "hollow" people, make them forget what they can do. So if all the theories are correct maybe sylar needs Claire to suck her power from her brain. Also that would seem to me the only way you could kill her, but that is just my theory.

I agree so long as her brain is intact and still in her head she can regenerate. She was "dead" at the morgue with no pulse or heartbeat yet when the stick was removed she healed right up. I would say removing her brain (as seems to be Sylars MO) would kill her as would simply burning her to ashes with an intense fire or explosion.

Actually, the brain theory totally explains the reason why Sylar is killing the way he is.  I thought the way he killed was rather gruesome, but hearing this gives it a place.

exactly.. the brain is what controls the power.. therefore without the brain the powers do not exist. She COULD NOT HEAL as long as that stick was in her head... so it IS possible to kill her.. just a lot harder. syler could want her for a number of reasons.. we're not entirely sure that he's "sucking" their powers.. maybe he's just getting rid of them so nobody can stand in his way... I mean peter can use EVERYBODY else's powers... so he's the ultimate.. but with no other heroes peter is a nobody
